Bulldog is generally a very strong dog unlike many other varieties. More than hundred years before Bulldog came into picture as fighting dog but now in recent years they are highly suitable for using as a pet. Lot of companies, shopping centers and so many are using the name of bulldog for their trade. Probably, it shows the popularity of the Bulldog all over the world.
APPEARANCE:
Bulldog generally a compact, small but they weighs more than you expect. The average weight for a good healthy Bulldog is about 50pounds but it can vary depends upon the environmental condition. Bulldog generally a very short height in nature, mathematically 12-16 inches in height. They have a very broad face and their cheeks almost extend to sides of eyes. Being a medium in size their tails also looks very short. Bulldog May available in different colors such as full in white, partly shaded in brown and white, reddish, light yellowish brown. Bulldogs have very strong and thick legs so it is interesting to see when it walks. The ears also look thin and small. Overall they have the ability to attract others with their appearance
CHARACTERISTICS:
Bulldogs are mainly courageous in nature. They are quite, silent due to the reason Bulldogs are not highly recommended for using as watchdogs. Being a silent in nature they are the best companions for the children. Bulldogs always feel bad for to be alone, it wants some affection from the people always. For someone bulldogs may looks like a fierce dog because of its strongly built shoulders. However, in real fact it is not true, they are a good-tempered dog. It is very cute to watch while it create snore but there has to be a limit otherwise it will make us weary. Bulldogs are always an indoor dog so it is highly suitable for keeping it grow in apartments. Bulldogs are not generally active one so giving some exercises will make it grow brisk. They can easily cope with relation with anyone at very first time so it will avoid some stress for the strangers to enter without fear. Simply, to say bulldogs are friendly at strangers.
MEDICAL CARE AND TRAINING:
Bathing, nail clipping, trimming, cleaning ears, eyes and mouth is very important one to follow to make bulldogs always clean. It must be a routine work one should not avoid it for any cost. Before doing any steps, it is better to consult some nearby vet to avoid some problems. Bulldogs are strange breed and like to put their face on all kind of strange particles so it is important for the dog owners to monitor their dogs especially on its eyes. Routine dental checkup is very essential one for make your bulldogs to feel better. Skin allergies loftily will occur in bulldogs so it is important to keep extra eyes on it. Two kinds of skin problems are there namely parasitic and non-parasitic. Disease can be easily felt in bulldogs by such symptoms on its skin.
FOODS FOR BULLDOG:
It is the major responsibility for the dog owners to give balanced or diet food but it must be a healthy one. Life period for these bulldogs are slightly less compared to any other brands. So giving proper and healthy food is more vitally required to keep bulldogs healthy. So it could make your bulldogs to live long happy life. Many one willing to give nutria food to their dogs because of its ingredients it will lead to some allergic problems. Grains have some protein but they are not best for to suggest. Proteins are generally comes from meat but some dogs are allergic to chickens. To avoid all this problem it is good to give some Natural lamb and rice. You can see the major difference in your dog after allowing this kind of foods.
