APPEARANCE:
It is highly dainty dog. They are usually a solid color, but may have black shadings or may be parti-coloured.The height for this kind of dog is nearly about 15-18 cm and it also weighs about 2.5- 4 kgs.The eyes look bright, dark, almond shaped eyes with an intelligent expression. People those who have no interest in dogs will also get addict after seeing this kind of dogs at once because of its attractive in nature. Because of their toy like appearance every one especially child will get addict. They are a small dog with a fox like appearance. It looks in all colors, but free from black or white shadings; whole colors are white, black, brown, orange, cream, and wolf sable, beaver, red, light or dark blue. They can also be particular. They have a long straight coat and the coloring of the coat can vary and some of the colors include parti-color, cream and sable, cream, blue, red, orange, sable, and brindle.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Barking is the unique characteristic for Pomeranian .They will bark always at stranger. They are not recommended for using as guard purposes but it will highly effective for using as watch dogs. Pomeranian is seldom seen on the streets, though being a high class dog, it is owned by different classes of people. Pomeranians are generally international dog show winners; hence if they are properly trained they make marvelous pet dogs. They have the ability to observe things sharply and attentive to their trainers. They will exceedingly loyal to their owners. They are affectionate and loving, demanding attention when they want it.
CARE AND TRAINING:
As a trainer you have lot of responsibility to take care of Pomeranian. Proper medical treatment is very important to give for at least once in a year .Dental care is the first thing that you need to notice often to your dog. They are very intelligent to learn so as you need to give some proper and meaningful training. Pomeranian will always bark at strangers, it is good to see but there has to be limit otherwise it will make you to wear. It is important to brushing a coat for at least two times a week. The life span for Pomeranians is about 12-16 years. A properly trained dog will be a pleasure to both strangers and his master, but a lot of people do not take this important step and then wonder why their dog is not “well behaved”. As a trainer the responsibility is upon you how much effort you are giving to your dog to make their life a happy one. If you want your dog to be well behaved then you should keep your dog in a good environment. You need to watch the behavior of the dog often because it is very important, even a simple change in your dog will impact you a lot. Regarding to the proper care for your dog there is two important aspects that you should not leave it. First one is the proper medical care as i mentioned before and the second important aspect is to give proper food to keep your Pomeranian healthy.
FOODS FOR POMERANIAN:
Many of the dog owners have no aware about the foods to give for their Pomeranian. They are thinking it is enough to purchase the cheapest dog food from the nearby stores and to provide it for a Pomeranians. Indeed it is not good to follow it because in these kind of cheapest foods you should not expect more nutrients in it it will surely affect your Pomeranians nearly in future. If you have no interest to buy a good nutrition food because of its expensive, sorry to say it, you are not a good owners for your pomeranians.Ok it is not possible to spend lot of money to buy a high quality food especially for a middle class people. I will give you one suggestion, if you can’t able to spend more money to buy high quality food, it is better to prepare the dogs food by yourself in your home. Most of us thinking these kind of foods preparing by yourself in home will take more time and more money but it’s not really true. The cost will very less comparing to outside stores indeed and it will also take couple of hours only for preparing food for a week.
