Finding a good pet store in your neighborhood where you can buy your pet supplies is not always easy. You may have the same problem when you move and need a veterinarian, when this happens the first thing to do is ask your vet if he knows one in the area. Call your old pet store and find out if they deliver all the way to your new home.
If neither of these works it is time to hit the street. Start making a sweep using your house as the central axis, if it is a large neighborhood you may find two or three pet stores. If you don’t find any on the street check the nearest mall. Go inside and look at the pet supplies they sell, do they have the same brands and stuff you bought before? I f they do, compare the prices if they don’t check out another store. A good pet store will usually deliver too so ask about that and any additional services they might have for your pet.
Try to buy the same pet supplies your animal likes, changing brands may not be good for him or her. The pet shop is no big deal if they have the same brands you bought for your pet before. If their pet supplies are cheaper great, if they are not just make sure the difference is not too big. When you start buying from them just make sure that the expiration date on their pet supplies is current and the pricing is good too.
Your pet’s health is the most important matter in this equation. Do not change his food or vitamins without talking to your vet first, this may make him sick for a few days.
