Dog Protozoan disease is the type of disease caused by the protozoa which spread through their agents such as mosquitoes for their transmission especially in the warmer climate. Even the dogs are very much affected by the protozoa diseases transmitted through various sources which live water, soil, and the feces of infected animals and invade canine digestive systems and blood streams.
The dog protozoan diseases can be of types such as Giardiasis, Coccidiosis, Leishmaniasis, Babesiosis, and Neosporosis where the sources for these types of diseases are the contaminated water, feces and the symptoms for this disease may be Diarrhea, weight loss etc. the less immune or young dogs may suffer from severe symptoms and also they may be forced to death and it can be cured through injections injected to the dogs and also treatments such as intravenous fluids and blood transfusions can be made to the dogs to cure their disease.
Sometimes when dogs are affected by the protozoa diseases there are no vaccines to cure their diseases and hence they must taken proper care.
